A Sassy Bow Holder

Hello ladies!  Some of you have expressed interest in making a sassy bow holder for our girls night out on April 7th at 7PM.  Here is a list of things you will need:
  • a picture frame
  • fabric
  • ribbon ( I used 1.5" ribbon, but any size will work)
I will supply the batting, which is optional.  We hope to see everyone there.

TUTU Cute!

The next Girls Night will be on Wednesday April 7th at 7PM at Marci's home (thank you Marci!).  For those who need an address or directions leave a comment.

We will be having a craft and treat night.   Marci and I will be showing how to make baby bows and no-sew tutus.  We have lots of clips to share, but if you would like to bring some grosgrain ribbon (which can be found at Michael's, Jo-Anns and Wal-Mart) that would be terrific.  If you have a craft you're working on feel free to bring that as well, or if you're just looking for a night out come on over.

Treats always make an evening out better, so please bring a treat (sweet or salty) to share.

Marci will be demonstrating how to make cute flower bows and she already has lots of fabric to share (Thanks Marci, you rock!).  I will demonstrate how to make the cute baby korker bows (bottom bow) and a no-sew tutu.

If anyone wants to learn how to make a no-sew tutu, you'll need to bring the items listed below.  I have one rotary cutter and mats which make cutting the tulle easy.  If you have a rotary cutter and a mat and/or glue gun please bring it as well.

Please let us know if you're coming by leaving a comment.  Hope to see you on April 7th!

No-Sew Tutu Supplies:
  • 3/4 inch or 1-inch non-roll elastic (Wal-Mart)
  • 6" rolls of tulle (Also at Wal-Mart, Jo-Anns and Michael's have more colors to choose from.  I used two rolls for my 2-year old's tutu, it just depends how fluffy you want the tutu to be and how big the tutu is.)
  • 1 + rolls of satin 1.5 inch ribbon (Wal-Mart).  The ribbon is optional, but I recommend it. (I used one entire roll of ribbon for my daughter's tutu, if that helps.)
